Privacy Policy
The Barrel House respects your privacy. We collect only the information necessary to operate our website, fulfill reservations, process donation requests, and respond to inquiries you initiate with us. We never sell your personal information to third parties.
Information you submit through our forms (name, email, phone number, message) is stored securely and used solely to follow up with your request. You may contact us at any time to request a copy, correction, or deletion of your data.
Identity Verification
For staff portals, donation approvals, and management vault access, we use email-based authentication and role-based permissions. Sign-in sessions are tied to your verified email address, and elevated actions (publishing, deleting, financial approvals) are logged with timestamps and the responsible user.
Age verification is required for any alcohol-related fulfillment (21+, U.S.). We may request government-issued ID for in-person pickup of allocated bottles, in accordance with state and local liquor laws.
Analytics & Behavioral Tracking
To continuously optimize your experience, monitor server health, and measure page traffic, we utilize a two-tier analytics framework:
1. Essential Internal Tracking (Always Active):
We employ proprietary, first-party tracking utilities directly integrated into barrelhouse.com. This functional tracking operates continuously to measure generalized site traffic volume, page popularity, and baseline site performance. This data is handled entirely in-house, does not collect personally identifiable information, is never shared with third parties, and is strictly used to keep our website running smoothly.
2. Optional Advanced Analytics (Opt-In/Opt-Out):
With your explicit consent via our cookie notification banner, we also utilize advanced third-party behavioral diagnostic tools, including Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Microsoft Clarity. These optional tools provide deep performance insights, capturing anonymized session metrics such as device type profiles, approximate geographic regions, page navigation paths, and interaction heatmaps.
Microsoft Clarity records session interactions solely to identify layout friction points; all personal user input forms are automatically and permanently masked. These optional third-party scripts remain completely blocked by default and will only initialize if you click “Accept” on our cookie banner. You can revoke this permission or opt out at any time by clearing your browser cache or declining the banner.
